Kisses for Kaylum
CLEVE HOUSE HOLDS “KISSES FOR KAYLUM” COFFEE MORNING
Staff and parents raised £269 to help a local boy who needs to travel to the US for potentially life-saving cancer treatment.
The coffee morning was held in aid of Kisses For Kaylum, which has been set up in aid of five-year-old Kaylum Ryan from Knowle, who was diagnosed with high-risk stage 4 neuroblastoma in 2013.
Despite intensive treatment Kaylum’s cancer returned last year and more recently, he has had to have a cancerous tumour on his brain removed.
Kaylum’s family needs to raise around £280,000 to pay for pioneering treatment at New York’s Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, which could save his life.
