Waste Week 2019

This week Cleve House School has been a single-use plastic free school. The children have brought in snacks in reusable snack pots and used reusable bottles in efforts to reduce their plastic waste. They have also learned about the affects of single-use plastics on the world.

During this week, the children also took part in the Great Big School Clean. The children carried out litter picks in the local area to help keep our streets tidy and to raise their awareness of the impact of littering. Furthermore, they have been monitoring how much they throw away and recycle in school and at home.

The week has been a great success and has helped our pupils be more conscious of how we can all reduce our waste and make a difference to our world.
