Extra Curricular Activities
The clubs list at Cleve House changes every term. In addition to a varied and exciting curriculum the children benefit from a wide spectrum of extra-curricular activities at both lunchtime or after school.
The choice of activities varies from sport and arts and crafts to learning opportunities that extend the curriculum: cross-country, rounders, ball skills,Computer coding, art club, French knitting, cookery and table tennis, are just a few.
The IT ‘Press Gang’ club helped produce the school newsletter each half-term and put examples of children’s work on the website.
Kung Fu is very popular with children of all ages and we were recently treated to a demonstration from Bristol Shaolin Kung Fu Academy.
New clubs are introduced each term and these may include football, how to draw, drama and chess. Through clubs and extra-curricular activities children are able to enjoy lots of new experiences.
We have a thriving Music department where we offer pupils the chance to learn the piano, guitar, ukele or take up singing lessons.
Pupils perform to their parents in a whole school musical once a year. We have recently put on productions of Robin Hood, Phatasmagoria and Alice.
